On Wednesday, LG announced a new 34-inch Chromecast-enabled monitor with HDR10 support and USB-C connectivity. The display will be showcased at the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017.
LG’s latest is a HDR-compatible 32-inch UHD monitor
The UHD 4K monitor is touted to offer “professional-grade picture quality and exceptionally vibrant colors”, perfect for gamers or creative professionals.
LG’s latest is equipped with an IPS panel and displays over 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. With a new generation of HDR capable game consoles, LG says the 32UD99 is well-equipped to meet the increasing demands of players.

The 32UD99 features a borderless design and has a slim ArcLine stand, requiring only a single cable to stream images to a 4K display. The monitor also has built-in speakers with LG’s Rich Bass technology.
In a press release, LG announced that in the upcoming CES 2017 in Las Vegas, it will also launch a 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide Mobile+ Monitor (model 34UM79M), a 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide gaming monitor (model 34UC99) , besides UltraFine 5K and 4K displays.
The 34UM79M will allow users to multitask between the PC and mobile device using a single screen. It will be the world’s first Chromecast-enabled multimedia monitor allowing users to stream their favorite movies or music from mobile to the monitor.
