If new reports are to be believed, LG is working on a smaller variant of its popular G6 that it launched in February. The device, dubbed as LG G6 mini, is also expected to sport a 18:9 display.
The LG G6 mini is not the official name, but just a speculation based on an internal LG document about the phone that surfaced online. First reported by TechnoBuffalo, the device is rumored to come with a 5.4-inch display.
Though the display size will be smaller compared to the LG G6, the report states the company will retain the 18:9 aspect ratio and will keep the near bezel-less design.
Besides the display, no other specs are known. Until, there is anything official on the specs, features and release, it is good to take the report with a pinch of salt.
Clearly the G6 mini will be aimed at those looking for G6 features in a smaller build and for an affordable price.
It is common these days to see smaller variants of flagship devices, many packing the same features, except a slightly reduced RAM and storage. Soon there will be more leaks and reports on the purported device, giving us more clarity on how the alleged G6 mini will shape up.
