LG K8 2017 is up for grabs in the US for $50

By affordable device standards, to have the latest Android OS on an LG-branded device for $50, is pretty enticing. The U.S. Cellular is selling the LG K8 2017 for that price point, after a discount of $100.

If not interested in prepaying, you can grab the LG K8 2017 by paying just $5 for 30 months. You get the new Android 7.0 Nougat, besides a decent 5-inch display (1280×720p resolution). Powering the device is a Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 1.5 GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot).

The year 2017 will see a number of affordable phones reaching the market. However, for those with immediate requirement, the K8 2017 is a good deal.

If you are particular about color, note that with U.S. Cellular you only get the blue variant. However, you can get a silver version of the same phone with MetroPCS or T-Mobile. Other highlights of the phone worth noting include the battery which is of 2,500 mAh capacity and the cameras, with the rear sporting an 8MP sensor and a 5MP shooter for selfies on the front.

The LG K8 2017 was announced alongside K7 2017 in January this year. The K7 2o17 came with a 5-inch display ((854 x 480p) and MediaTe MTK6737M processor. The battery was of 2,500 mAh, while for pictures you had a 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. However, the operating system is the older Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
