The company has sent media invites for the event where it will be announcing the price and availability. The launch is scheduled for 11.30am IST.

Pre-registrations are currently open on the website. But for those who can’t wait a day longer, a new leak has revealed the prices of the G6.

Going by the leak, LG will be pricing the G6 around Rs 54,000. And those who pre-order the device will be eligible for a cashback offer of up to Rs 7,000. In addition to that, the company is giving away the LG Tone Active+ HBS-A100 wireless headset for half the price.

For the uninitiated, LG launched the G6 at the Mobile World Congress in February, 2017. The device features a 5.7-inch QHD+ (1440×2880 pixels) FullVision display with an impressive 18:9 aspect ratio.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset, the hardware will include 4B RAM and 32GB/64GB storage (expandable up to 2TB). For pictures, the flagship has a dual-camera setup at rear with two 13MP cameras. There is also a 5MP sensor on front for selfies.

There is a fingerprint sensor on the back and the battery will be of 3,300 mAh. Other highlights include IP68 dust and water resistance, wireless charging, and 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC (digital to analog converter) for enhanced audio playback. The smartphone measures 148.9×71.9×7.9mm and weighs 163 grams. It will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
