Lenovo on Wednesday launched the ZUK Edge, a curved smartphone with edge display running on Android 7.0 Nougat. At CNY 2,299 ($330), it is the cheapest in the market to feature Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 821 processor.
Weighing 160 grams, Lenovo’s latest comes with a 5.5-inch display sporting a 2.5D curved glass on top. The hardware includes Snapdragon 821 chipset, Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB storage.
Though not featuring a dual curved edge display as rumored, the device has a fingerprint scanner under the glass, making it not only sleek but also giving a lead over the competition.
For more on the specs, the Zuk Edge is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8MP front shooter. Connectivity options in the dual SIM phone include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WiFi and USB Type-C port that supports Quick Charge 3.0.
Lenovo ZUK Edge is backed by an impressive 3100mAh battery and supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology. The smartphone will be available in Titanium Black and Ceramic White colour variants.
While the 4GB RAM variant goes for CNY 2,299 ($330), the 6GB RAM retails for CNY 2,499 ($359). For now the device is only available in China. You can expect the device to arrive several key markets by the first quarter of 2017.
