Lenovo K7 Note is expected to soon launch in India. While rumors continue to swirl on the hardware, the phablet has passed through a benchmarking site confirming many of them and even an imminent launch.
According to the listing spotted on Geekbench, the Lenovo K7 Note will see fitted with a MediaTek Helio X20 chipset that is more energy efficient and is built on a 28nm process. The device posted a score of 1659 points in the single-core test and 4844 points in the multi-core test. Earlier, rumors suggested a Snapdragon 630 or Snapdragon 660 processor. But going by the Geekbench listing, that might not be a possibility.
Alongside the processor, the listing also reveals that the device will feature a 4GB RAM and Android 7.1.1 operating system.
Earlier this week, Lenovo posted a teaser with hashtag “#KillerNote”. “Ordinary performance will be a thing of the past. The new #KillerNote is set to blow you away! Uncaging soon,” states the teaser.
The 18-second video compares three smartphones’ performance, including the K7 Note and two unnamed devices. It does not reveal any specific features or the exact release date.
Lenovo K7 Note will succeed the K6 Note which launched in September, last year. It had a 5.5-inch screen with Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It was equipped with a massive 4,000 mAh battery, in addition to a 16MP rear camera and 8MP front shooter.
