After Acer’s run at showcasing their army of laptops and PCs to the masses at the IFA, it is now Lenovo’s turn to flaunt its offerings, and this time around, the company showed off their new Yoga line of laptops, which include the Yoga 920, Yoga 720 and the Miix 520 2-in-1. Mean for different price segments, all three offerings from Lenovo will be made available from October onwards.
Yoga 920
The Yoga 920 is the most powerful of the three offerings, and comes with a 13.9-inch 4K display, which will be the highlight of the device. The display is an IPS panel and also comes with a 1080p option. Inside, the laptop will feature the 8th generation Intel Core i7 processors with integrated graphics and either 8GB or 16GB of RAM. There are also three storage options on offer, coming in at 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. The laptop will sport Windows 10 out of the box along with a 720p HD fixed focus CMOS camera for the optics. There is also a far-field microphone for voice support and the laptop packs JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos baked in. The 70Wh battery will be enough to provide up to 10.8 hours of battery life on a single charge for the 4K variant and up to 15.5 hours on the 1080p variant. It will come with two USB Type-C ports and one USB 3.0 always-on charging port. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack for audiophiles. For the offering, the laptop will come with a price tag of $1,399.
Yoga 720
Considering the naming of the device, the 720 will be a bit smaller than the 920, coming in with a display that is 12.5-inches in size and has a 1080p resolution. It will feature the 7th generation of Intel i3, i5 or i7 processors with integrated graphics for users to choose from. There is either 4GB or 8GB RAM of memory offered, along with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB SATA SSD storage option. Lenovo will be offering Harman Speakers that are powered by Dolby Audio. The 35Wh battery will be able to offer up to 8 hours of battery life. The ports selection will be the same as the 920, save for there being only one USB Type-C port this time around. The laptop will be priced at around $649 to start with.
Lenovo Miix 520 2-in-1
This particular convertible comes with a 12.2-inch FHD IPS touchscreen display and is powered by the 8th Gen Core i5 processor that is coupled with 8GB of RAM. The internal storage tops up at 256GB of SSD storage and also comes with a SIM card slot. Included with the device is the Active Pen 2 and an SD-card reader. The device also has an 8MP AF worldview camera as well as a backlit keyboard as standard. Like the other Lenovo offerings, the tablet will support Dolby Audio and will be powered by a 29Wh battery unit that promises 7.5 hours of battery life. It will feature one USB-C port and one USB 3.0 port and will cost a hefty $999 for its package.
