New images of Meizu 5s has surfaced on a Chinese social networking site showing the display, specifications as well as branding on the retail packaging box.
On the first glance, the pictures align with the recent renders on the device that was leaked online. Spotted by Android Headlines, the images show latest Flyme user interface running on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Additionally, it reveals the model number as “M612Q” and hardware to include 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage. A picture with the packaging also shows the charger and USB cable.
The leak comes just days after the phone was spotted on TENAA and Geekbench. The TENAA listing showed two different model numbers – M612Q and M612M, both featuring a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.
To be powered by a 1.3GHz Octa-Core processor, the device is expected to come in three RAM and storage variants – 2GB RAM/16GB storage, 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The camera is tipped to be of 13MP sensor on the back and 5MP sensor with video capabilities on the front. The 4G VoLTE device will run on a 2930 mAh battery.
Meizu M5s is rumored to be priced at CNY 999 ($145). The device would succeed the Meizu M5, which was launched in October.
