Intex has launched two new smartphones targeting the Diwali shopping season in India.
The Aqua Q8 and Cloud S9 is listed on the Intex website for Rs 4,200 and Rs 6,499 respectively. The Android handsets support 4G with VoLTE, so Reliance Jio network can be easily accessible.
Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Intex Aqua 8 sports a 4.5-inch WVGA display and a 1650mAh Lithium-ion battery that gives a decent talktime of 6 hours. There is a 5MP rear camera and 0.3 MP front camera with LED flash.
Aqua Q8 is powered by a 1.2GHz Quad-Core Processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. Connectivity options also include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS and USB port. The device comes in three color variants – White, Black and Champagne.
The second device, Cloud S9, has slightly higher specs and also runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It supports 4G VoLTE too. On the camera front, it has bigger 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera with flash.
The S9 sports a 5.5-inch HD display with durable DragonTrail Glass to protect the screen from damage. Performance wise, the S9 runs faster with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM and 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor. That is not all, the Cloud S9 boasts a fingerprint scanner and 3,650 mAh battery.
Pre-installed apps on both the Intex devices include Dailyhunt, Newspoint, Saavn and Opera Mini.
