Huawei Honor 6X hits retail shelves in US for $250

Huawei had taken the wraps of its latest Honor 6X at a press event in China on October 18. The handset is now heading to US where consumers will be able to purchase for $250.

A successor of 5X, the new Honor 6X has an affordable price tag but with all the premium features you can ask for. It sports a 5.5 inch 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution IPS LCD display and is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 655 octa-core processor.

Under the hood, you also have a 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage with microSD storage card. Running on Emotion UI 4.1 built on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the device boasts a dual-camera on its back. The 12MP plus 2MP dual main camera supports Deep Trench Isolation (DTI), Phase Detection Autofocus Technology (PDAF), and Wide Aperture mode.

The Honor 6X comes with a fingerprint scanner and a 3,340 mAh battery. Color options include Gold, Silver, and Grey.

Those in the US can head to HiHonor, Amazon, BestBuy, and Newegg for making their purchase. The first units will ship on January 10. There will also be a flash sale when limited quantities will sell for $199.
