Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus launched: Know specs, features and price

Huawei has released a new mid-range handset, the Enjoy 7 Plus. A successor to last year’s Enjoy 6s, the device is among a flurry of launches Huawei has been bringing in the recent past.

Enjoy 7 Plus will sell at CNY 1,599 (WinFuture)

If you recall, in March Huawei launched the P10 Lite and Y5 2017. Both were mid-range smartphones. The P10 Lite is the budget variant of the company’s flagship P10 smartphone.

Coming to the new Enjoy 7 Plus, you have a 5.5-inch display with HD resolution and Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor. The hardware includes a 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage.

On the optics front, the Enjoy 7 Plus boasts a 12MP sensor on the back and 8MP selfie camera on the front. The device comes with Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is also equipped with a large 4,000 mAh battery.

The dual-SIM phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back that supports gestures. Enjoy 7 Plus will sell at CNY 1599 ($231). Like the predecessor, the device as well will sport an all metal design.

On Enjoy 6s you had the same RAM and internal storage, but the processor was Snapdragon 435 SoC and selfie camera was a 5MP sensor. The battery as well was smaller at 3,020 mAh. The device was launched in the market in three colors – white, silver and gold.

Interestingly, the price of the Enjoy 6s and Enjoy 7 Plus appears to be identical at CNY 1,599. For the upgraded version one would have thought Huawei would charge a tad bit more, but that has not happened.

Huawei’s latest launch comes just a month after the P10 Lite, a trimmed down version of P10 and P10 Plus. The device features a 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display and HiSilicon Kirin 658 processor with Mali T830-MP2 GPU.

Other specs included a 4GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable up to 128GB). P10 Lite runs Android 7.0 OS and is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. For pictures there was a 12MP rear camera and 8MP selfie camera. It is sure a great year for Huawei fans. More devices are in the pipeline and the rumor mills should be back in full swing.
