Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has announced two new devices to its Desire lineup.
The HTC Desire 10 Pro and HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle are packed with top-tier features that give it a competitive advantage.
Though they have similar designs, the devices vary in features – from camera, battery to display size. The Desire 10 Pro is the higher-end variant with integrated fingerprint sensor, 64GB internal storage space and comes with a high-contrast metallic gold contour design and full glass front.
The 5.5-inch display device is available in four color variants – Stone Black, Polar White, Royal Blue and Valentine Lux. Under the hood, you have a MediaTek Helio P10 8x A53 processor paired with a 4GB RAM.
Clearly, the Desire 10 Pro is a camera-centric phone with 20MP main camera and 13MP camera for selfies. The rear camera comes with pro-level features like Electronic Image Stabilization for smooth videos and Auto HDR that combines multiple shots into a single photo.
And the selfie camera is a solid snapper with higher resolution pictures and built-in screen flash. Using the fingerprint sensor, users can quickly capture a selfie or even record a video.
While that is for Desire 10, for Desire 10 Lifestyle, HTC has maintained the metallic gold contour design, but has equipped it with a 24-bit Hi-Res audio and HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition speakers. It has a 13 MP rear camera and 5MP camera for selfies.
The 5.5-inch display device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 4×1.6 GHz processor and is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage space. As for connectivity options, the phone supports 4G LTE, 2G, 2.5G, GSM, GPRS and EDGE. With the battery capacity of 2,700mAh, you can comfortably enjoy talk time of entire day, while WiFi can last up to 7 hours. The phone is also equipped with power saving and extreme power saving mode, besides Fast Charging.
The HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle comes in four color variants – Stone Black, Polar White, Royal Blue and Valentine Lux. It will retail at around $320 by the end of September. The Desire 10 Pro will be available in October.
