It is less likely that HTC will release the long-rumored HTC 11 at the Mobile World Congress. While release date rumors are swirling over the Internet, a new leak has revealed crucial details on the specifications.
The About Phone section of the HTC 11 leaked on Weibo, revealing that the device will run on Android 7.12 Nougat with HTC Sense 9.0 on top.
Furthermore, it pointed to a Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory, as reported by GSM Arena. Also found is a 1556×2550 pixel display. There is nothing official yet on the hardware, so we warn readers to take it with a grain of salt.
Reports speculate that HTC 11 will be released sometime around April. The reason for the wait is attributed to the delay of Snapdragon 835 chipsets.
HTC 11 is the most awaited flagship from the company. A sequel to the HTC 10, the new HTC 11 could be equipped with a powerful dual-camera set up (12MP+12MP suggested). The device will also be decked with a 3,700 mAh battery with Qualcomm’s Quickcharge 4.0 support.
The HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play
2017 is going to be an exiting year for HTC as the Taiwanese smartphone maker is prepping close to seven devices for launch. Just last month, it unveiled two of those – the HTC U Ultra and HTC U Play.
For the uninitiated, the HTC U Ultra had a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super LCD screen, along with a smaller 2-inch screen on top of it, and Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB/129GB storage. The HTC U Play on the other hand had a smaller display of 5.2-inch Full HD Super LCD screen. It further packed a octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC, 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage.
The phones come with its own digital assistant ‘Sense Companion’. The duo also run Android 7.0 Nougat.
