HP announced four new web presses at the ongoing Graph Expo 2016 in Orlando, Florida.

“Today’s announcements demonstrate HP’s commitment to innovation that leads to immediate impact to our customers’ businesses,” said Mike Salfity, global head and general manager, Graphics Solutions Business, HP Inc.

The new HP PageWide Web Press portfolio consist of T390 HD, T390M HD, T380 HD and T370 HD.

HP said the Web presses will help print service providers (PSPs) to increase the application range and improve margins. The PSPs can shift more work from offset presses to HP PageWide Web Presses, reducing waste and makeready.

The Web presses are commonly used for magazines and other high-volume printing. HP says printing 500 fpm in quality mode will assist in high-value customized publishing applications, such as color trade books, journals, retail catalogs and brochures.

Giving a glimpse at the page volumes, HP said PageWide Web Press customers are running more than five billion pages per month, up from four billion pages per month in 2015.

The Graph Expo 2016 will also see HP announce its full portfolio of new HP Indigo digital presses for general commercial printing, large-format HP Latex and PageWide XL printers.
