The Honor 8 Pro will start selling in India starting July 10. Three months after the Honor 8 Pro was launched, the device has hit the Indian shores today.
The device, priced at Rs 29,999 ($463), will sell exclusively on Amazon India. The July 10 sale will only be for Amazon Prime members, while for the rest Huawei has set the date of July 13.
Honor 8 Pro is a high end version of the Honor 8 and comes with new OS, bigger battery and RAM. When Honor 8 launched, it had a 5.2-inch full HD screen, Kirin 950 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The battery was of 3,000 mAh.
The upgraded Honor 8 Pro offers an improved screen at 5.7-inch QHD LTPS display and a Kirin 960 processor. You also have a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
In terms of optics, the phone boasts a 12MP dual camera with dual-tone LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. For selfies there is an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.
Power is drawn by a 4,000 mAh battery. Clearly a big bump considering that Honor 8 came with a 3,000 mAh setup. As for operating system, the device runs on Android 7.0 with EMUI 5.1 on top.
The Honor 8 Pro will sell in Navy Blue and Midnight Black colors in India.
