Two months after it was spotted on TENAA, Gionee’s F5 finally launched in China on Monday. To woo buyers, the Chinese company is also offering a free selfie stick and USB light with the device.
The handset is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB).
For those avid phone photographers, the F5 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with features such as Panorama, Night, HDR, slow motion and delay photography. There is an 8MP snapper for selfies.
The F5 is a dual-SIM phone and will support 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. There is a physical home button on the front that has the fingerprint sensor embedded into it.
The device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will be backed by a decent 4000 mAH battery. Buyers will have two color options to choose from – Gold and Rose.
