Galaxy TabPro S Gold Edition released: Powered by Intel Core M, 8GB RAM

Samsung has announced the Gold Edition of its Galaxy TabPro S. The 2-in-1 tablet was first unveiled at the CES 2016.

Available from October 14 in the U.S., the Tab Pro S will sell with a price tag of $800. The stylus should be purchased separately for $80.

According to Samsung, the new Gold Edition comes bundled with full-size keyboard, Windows 10 and an Intel processor. The device is equipped with a 6th generation Intel Core M processor and is paired with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB Solid State Drive.

With a sleek and minimalistic design, the TabPro S weights only 1.53 pounds and features a full-size detachable keyboard and integrated touchpad.

This 2-in-1 tablet, Samsung says, has the only Super AMOLED display for Windows on the market, giving consumers a best-in-class viewing experience. On the battery front, 2-in-1 incorporates advanced technology to power efficiency. Galaxy TabPro S’s battery can fully charge in as little as 2.5 hours, thanks to the fast charging capability. On a single charge, you can use for up to 10.5 hours.

The Galaxy TabPro S comes with the Samsung Flow pre-installed. It enables you to connect the tablet with your smartphone with just a touch. You can easily monitor texts, phone notifications and incoming calls on your tablet screen.

As for connectivity, the HDMI port enables your video presentations to come to life even in 4K. There is the USB-A port for connecting external hard drives or flash drives and the USB-C port for Samsung’s fast charging technology. The 2-in-1 supports Wi-Fi as well as Bluetooth. For photography, it has 5MP camera in the front and rear with Auto Focus and Full HD Video Recording.
