Galaxy Tab S3 listed on GFXBench: Here are the specs

A new sighting on a benchmarking site reveals the specs of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S3. With a thinner profile and display of 9.6-inch and resolution of 2,048 x 1,536 pixels, the Galaxy Tab S3 was spotted on GFXBench.

An upgrade to the Galaxy Tab S2 that was launched back in 2015, the processor in the new Tab S3 is revealed to be a Snapdragon 820 and is paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage. The Android tablet will be equipped with a 12.8MP camera on the back and a 5MP snapper on the front for selfies.

It is highly probable that Samsung would be launching this around the time of MWC. The South Korean company was expected to introduce the Tab S3 at the IFA in September, last year. That did not materialize, thanks to the Note 7 fiasco.

Earlier this month, the iPad rival received its Bluetooth and WiFi certification as well. Reports suggest there will be at least two Galaxy Tab S3 models launched – one an LTE version and the other WiFi only.

A Type-C USB port is also said to be a part of the specifications. The official specs, price and release date should be made public soon. Till then, stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
