Samsung has launched a new smartphone as part of the Galaxy J7 series dubbed Galaxy J7 Nxt. The device was launched in India with a price tag of Rs 11,490 ($178).
The Galaxy J7 Nxt is a decent phone packed with a 5.5-inch HD (720p) Super AMOLED display and powered by a 1.6 Ghz octa-core processor. Under the hood, you will find a RAM of 2GB and storage of 16GB (expandable to 256GB via microSD card).
In the optics department, users are in for a treat with a 13MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, autofocus and LED flash, and 5MP front shooter with LED flash. Also, there is a 3,000 mAh battery for power. The device runs on Android Nougat OS.
Buyers will find the Galaxy J7 Nxt both online and at retail stores in Black and Gold colors. The latest launch comes just days after Samsung introduced a similarly spec’d device, but with a costlier price tag.
The Galaxy On Max was a 5.7-inch full HD display phone and boasted an all-metal unibody design. Key features included an octa-core MediaTek MTK P25 SoC, 4GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable up to 256GB).
The USP of the device was the 13MP cameras with flash on the rear as well as front. One offered an aperture of f/1.7, while the second of f/1.9. The 4G LTE phone had a beefier 3,300 mAh battery. And all this for a price of Rs 16,900 ($262).
