The FZ-Q2 Toughpad is Panasonic’s latest enterprise-grade tablet

While we are waiting to get a glimpse of the top-line consumer gadgets the CES introduced, Panasonic has decided to charm the enterprise customers with its latest 2-in-1 tablet.

Panasonic today announced the FZ-Q2 2-in-1 Toughpad, its latest addition to the Toughbook product family. Designed for professionals, the FZ-Q2 boasts of enterprise-grade features.

Retail customers also benefit from its rugged durability and desktop solution for hybrid POS systems and back office environments. It can easily withstand dust, drops and vibration. To come handy for those mostly on the field, the FZ-Q2 includes a field serviceable battery.

“Our entire family of Toughbook products are engineered to meet the real world demands our customers face on a daily basis and in many of these environments, consumer devices simply fall short,” said Brian Rowley, VP of Marketing and Product Management.

The 10.1 inch Android tablet boasts a full HD display and is powered by version 6.0 Marshmallow and comes with Android for Work’s enterprise security built-in.

The FZ-Q2 has Intel Core m5-6Y57 with vPro Processor and runs on latest Windows 10 Pro operating system. Other highlights include a 4GB RAM, 32GB storage, 9 hours of battery life and a front camera of 2MP.

Most importantly, the enterprise tablet provides reliable 4G connectivity. Besides, for those on the move, the full sized backlit keyboard can be easily detached for a portable solution.

The FZ-Q2 will retail for $2,299 starting January 12.
