Eizo’s FlexScan EV2780 is first monitor with USB Type-C terminal

Eizo has released a new 27-inch monitor with a USB Type-C terminal. The FlexScan EV2780 makes it easy to transmit video, audio and USB signals with a single cable.

The FlexScan EV2780 features an ergonomic design and boasts of energy-saving features, making it ideal for a range of business environments.

You would notice a bezel-less cabinet with a frame that is just 1mm in width and is combined with a fully-flat surface. You have black or white for color choices.

The 27-inch screen uses an LED-backlit IPS LCD panel with a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 178° viewing angles. The typical brightness is 350 cd/m2 and the contrast ratio is 1000:1.

eizo-ev2780-back-panelThere is also a built-in sensor that automatically adjusts the screen’s brightness to reduce power usage. Additionally, a preset mode called Paper reduces blue light for comfortable viewing. There are additional preset modes that are fully customizable.

The EV2780 has a dual one-watt internal speaker and a headphone jack. Eizo said the display uses 23 watts of power during typical use and zero watts of power consumed when the main power switch is off. There is also an ergonomic stand with 155 mm height adjustment, 40° tilt and 90° pivot for portrait mode.
