The Dell XPS 9650 is expected to launch with Kaby Lake CPU and an optional Nvidia GTX 1050 GPU. Available in UltraSharp 4K Ultra HD (3840×2160) InfinityEdge display, the ultrabook will be a refresh of the same launched last year.

A product page for the new Dell XPS 9650 was reported to have gone live briefly, revealing much of the core specs. Apparently the notebook could be the first to feature Intel’s seventh-generation Kaby Lake processors (Core i3-7100HQ, Core i5-7300HQ and Core i7-7700HQ).

“The most powerful XPS laptop we’ve ever built includes the latest 7th Gen Intel Quad Core processors and an optional 4GB GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card with the latest and greatest Pascal architecture, so you can blaze through your most intensive tasks,” the product description stated, as quoted by Digital Trends.

Though there is not much insight into the GPU, Dell is expected to add Nvidia’s GTX 1050 GPU with 4GB VRAM. We are not sure if there would be a GTX 1050 or a 1050 Ti. Earlier rumors said the Dell XPS would be equipped with Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M with 2GB of onboard memory.

In the next week or so, you can expect to see more leaks and details on pricing and availability. Additionally, you can also compare the same with other GeForce GTX 1050 laptops that is to be showcased at the Las Vegas technology tradeshow.
