To a query from a Twitter user, Nokia confirmed they will, in fact, launch their all three new Android phones in the US.

When news broke out that Nokia is making a comeback with pure Android phones, fanboys and fangirls couldn’t hold up their tears of joy. Nokia was hugely applauded for giving back the nostalgic 90s design on the brand new 3310. And it was only expected when Nokia announced the global launch of their phones at the MWC earlier this year, a lot of hearts in the US skipped a beat because often, global launch and ‘US launch’ meant two different things.
And with so many companies having different interpretations for the term global launch, it was until now, unclear about Nokia’s US release of the phones. A Twitter user asked Nokia whether the Android phones will be made available in the US, to which Nokia replied in confirmation. However as to the 3310, no one has yet tweeted asking Nokia about its release and as of now, whether 3310 will hit the US markets is still not sure. In other news, a person from Taiwan also got confirmation from Nokia’s Twitter handle regarding the release of the phones in the Asian country. Considering the release in such diverse markets, it’s safe to assume Nokia’s ‘global release’ is an actual global release.
Nokia’s three pure Android phones, Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 look solid and uncompromising. All three phones run on Android Nougat 7.1, promising pure Android experience without any clutters and offer regular updates. Nokia 6 seems to be the feature-rich phone while Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 being the entry level models. The trio has 1080p video recording and has IPS LCD display with 720p and 2.5D Gorilla Glass screen, although the screen size of all three phones differs.
GSM Arena predicts, Nokia will follow the direct-to-consumer method in the US for all three Android phones as they belong to the entry-mid level category. The website also expects the handsets will be initially made available through online retailers like Amazon before proceeding to strike a deal with telecom operators in the US.
