The latest Google update for Chrome for Android brings a slew of enhancements and bug fixes. One nifty feature it accomodates is the ability to download multimedia for offline viewing.
The Chrome 55 (55.0.2883.84) for Android will allow users to easily download music, videos, in addition to full web pages for viewing offline.
Two other features the update brings include the ability to view and share downloads within Chrome and to see misspelled words highlighted in text fields.
The new update will be available on Google Play over the next few days. “This release contains performance, memory, and stability fixes,” Alex Mineer of Google Chrome team writes.
