TCL, the company that will manufacture and sell BlackBerry-branded phones in most parts of the world, teased the upcoming BlackBerry Mercury device that is expected to be unveiled at the CES 2017.

The BlackBerry Mercury, also monikered the DTEK70, was teased in a short video posted by TCL Steve Cistulli. The clip gives a quick glimpse of the stylish physical QWERTY keyword present on the smartphone.
Going by the latest rumors, the device is expected to feature a 4.63-inch display, a Snapdragon processor, 3GB of RAM as well as 32GB of internal storage.
BlackBerry and TCL previously teamed up on two BlackBerry-branded Android devices – the DTEK50 and DTEK60.
BlackBerry has stopped making phones with DTEK60 being the last. The Canadian company and TCL recently announced a “long-term licensing agreement” that allows TCL to design, build, sell, and offer support for BlackBerry-branded phones. The software and security solutions however will be licensed from BlackBerry.
BlackBerry will hold a press conference on January 4, when more details on the Mercury phone and future releases will be made public.
