BlackBerry KEYone is official in India: Know price, specs and features

BlackBerry’s KEYone was officially launched in India today with a unique memory configuration. Calling it the Limited Edition Black, the Canadian smartphone maker introduced the device with a price tag of Rs 39,990 ($625).

First unveiled at the MWC 2017, BlackBerry KEYone offers a combination of touchscreen and physical QWERTY keyboard. While the international variant had 3GB RAm and 32GB storage, on the Limited Edition Black version in India BlackBerry has a fitted a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It is also the first BlackBerry handset to support dual-SIM card.

Blackberry KEYone features a 4.5-inch display with 1080x1620p resolution and is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor. It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and comes with all the security features BlackBerry is famous for.

In terms of optics, the device sports a 12MP rear camera with dual tome LED flash, Sony IMX378 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and PDAF. Users will also find an 8MP front shooter with f/2.2 aperture. Also, the device is backed by a 3,505 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge support.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C. A fingerprint scanner also is embedded into the space bar of the physical keyboard in front.

BlackBerry KEYone will be exclusively available through Amazon India starting August 8.
