Benchmark reveals new Nokia phone ‘Heart’; Nokia 6 flash sale to resume Jan 26

A new Nokia smartphone has appeared on benchmarking site GFXBench. With the moniker ‘Heart’, the device appears to be an entry-level model. But it could also be a smaller variant to the recently announced Nokia 6.

The listing on GFXBench shows a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720) display with a 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset and will run Android 7.0 out of the box.

As Mobile World Congress is fast approaching, it is feasible to believe that HMD Global, the mother company of Nokia, could introduce the phone to the world in February.

The ‘Heart’ has a 12MP camera on the back with autofocus, flash and touch focus. We will have to wait a little longer to find what exactly Nokia would call this device and at what price point it would sell.

Latest on Nokia 6

Meanwhile, Nokia 6, HMD Global’s first Android phone, will be coming again in a second flash sale on January 26. In its last flash sale, the device completely sold out within one minute. There were over 1 million pre-orders that were made.

Nokia 6 is for now exclusive to China via JD.com and has a price tag of CNY 1,699 ($247). The device features a 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 430 chipset, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It is bundled with a 3000 mAh battery and Android 7.0 operating system.

During the MWC in Barcelona next month more than six Nokia devices are expected to see launch. One of them includes the P1 which could be a high end phone.

Rumors speculate the P1 will feature a 5.3-inch display covered with Gorilla Glass 5 and a Snapdragon 835 SoC with 6GB RAM. For pictures, it is rumored to include a Zeiss-certified 22.6MP rear camera. As this is just mere speculation, we will advise you to take it with a pinch of salt.
