Belkin has launched a new single-cable docking solution that works well with Apple’s USB C-Thunderbolt 3 ports on new MacBook Pros.
The Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD offers 40 Gbps data transfer rates, dual 4K video support and 85 Watts of power delivery.
“Belkin has a long-standing history of designing complementary peripherals and accessories for the industry’s most innovative hardware products, such as the all-new MacBook Pro,” said Steve Malony, vice president of Belkin.
Other features include two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports, three USB-A 3.0 ports, one DisplayPort, Audio In/Out port and Gigabit Ethernet port. It also comes with a 170W power adapter to support attached peripherals.
“The new Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD and its exceptional single-cable docking solution for notebooks was developed with a deep understanding of consumers’ needs for ideal connectivity solutions,” noted Steve.
Besides the Thunderbolt 3 Express Dock HD, Belkin also introduced its USB-C to HDMI Adapter featuring up to 4K resolution and two Thunderbolt 3 cables, supporting up to 40 Gbps data transfer rates.
