Asus ZenFone 4 Pro leak shows QHD display with Snapdragon 835 and dual-camera setup

The new Asus ZenFone 4 Pro’s specifications and form-factor may have just been leaked online and the images provide a strong idea as to what buyers will be able to expect from Asus’s offering. The latest leaks relate the previous leaks that have been seen across the internet, which shows that it is the same phone that rumors have been speculating about.

Based on the leak, the phone will come with a 21MP dual camera on the back of the device and will come with 2x optical zoom which was also seen in the iPhone 7 Plus earlier. The device’s build and size look similar to what was seen in earlier leaks of the device as well. The device has not yet been announced, let alone confirmed, but based on the received images, it seems that the phone will ultimately match the given rumors and information that have been taking rounds across the internet.

Two of the several ZenFone 4 phones have been so far revealed, with the ZenFone Max being the first in line to be released, following which a version from Italy which this leak originates from for the ZenFone 4 Pro. The Pro is meant to be the flag-bearer for the line-up, meaning it will come with the highest specification of its line-up. The Pro is speculated to come with a Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM. The screen will also be a 5.7-inch AMOLED panel with a QHD resolution. Asus is also confident about its camera module, as the model shown in the leaked image shows the 2x optical zoom sticker between the lenses at the back. The phone’s exact dimensions and the form so far cannot be confirmed just yet, since it was photographed while within a case, which means that the design may or may not be final just yet.

Based on the content shown on the phone’s display, the phone is running Android Nougat 7.1.1 and will bear the model name ASUS_Z01GS. The leak mentions that the phone will also be able to run on a 1 Gbps LTE network. The phone is expected to launch sometime in September. Considering the company’s inclination to more conservative designs over the years, it will be easy to speculate that the phone will not feature as much cutting-edge tech as we have come across on other flagships of current generation of smartphones.
