After two years, Asus has finally brought a successor to the ZenFone Zoom in the form of ZenFone 3 Zoom. The premium metal unibody device is targeted at photography enthusiasts and comes with a range of features.
The ZenFone 3 Zoom has a dual camera setup on the back with two 12MP sensors. While one offers f/1,7 aperture 25mm wide-angle lens, the other has a 59mm second with 2.3X optical zoom. The dual rear cameras can take great pictures even in low light conditions, thanks to the SuperPixel technology.
Additionally, there is a full Manual mode so users can adjust the exposure value, ISO settings, focus, and shutter speeds.
As for other specs, the Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display (1080x1920p resolution) with Corning Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 625 with Adreno 506 GPU.
There are three RAM (2GB/3GB/4GB) and storage (16GB/32GB/64GB) variants. The storage is expandable via microSD card slot. The 4G LTE phone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery for power.
Did we mention? There is also a 13MP camera on the front for selfies. Lastly, the device runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
The premium device is available for purchase at leading online and retail stores in the US. It carries a price tag of $329 and will be available in three color variants – Navy Black, Glacier Silver and Luxury Gold.
