Asus has released a new 24-inch FHD gaming monitor with 1ms response time and AMD FreeSync technology.
Asus’ new gaming monitor comes with an ultra-fast 1ms response time
The VG245H is a wall-mountable display and is ergonomically designed, even allowing to adjust the tilt, swivel, pivot, and height of the monitor. It has a resolution of 1920×1080.
Asus says the display was created for ultimate console gaming experience. It has an ultra-fast 1ms response time and 75Hz refresh rate and features the GameFast Input Technology for smooth gameplay. The 1ms response time will eliminate all smearing, ghosting and motion blur.
On connectivity options, the Asus VG245H features two HDMI ports. You can connect your game console and another HDMI device at the same time, leaving out the need to frequently plug and change your connection.
The monitor is backed by AMD FreeSync technology to eliminate choppy gameplay and broken frames. The technology locks a display’s refresh rate to the frame rate of the graphics card to prevent tearing in games and videos.
There are six pre-set display modes to optimize visuals for different types of content. They consist of Racing, Cinema, RTS/RPG, FPS, sRGB and Scenery.
Other notable features include the cable management design feature on the stand to organize and hide cables and the Flicker-Free technology to minimize eyestrain during long gaming sessions. The gaming monitor is also equipped with the Ultra-Low Blue Light technology to reduce the amount of harmful blue light emitted by display.
