French electronics company Archos today launched the 133 Oxygen, the largest tablet in the Oxygen series.
At the ongoing IFA 2016 event in Berlin, Archos unveiled the 13.3-inch tablet that comes at a price tag of £179 and sports a Full HD IPS 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution display. Powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor, it is equipped with 2GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. The 133 Oxygen runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

“As a forerunner in the tablet segment, that introduced the first WiFi-enabled solution running Google Android back in 2009, Archos designed the 133 Oxygen to match users’ needs at home,” the company said in a release.
The 133 Oxygen features an elegant design with a robust aluminum polished back casing made of metal.
The octo-core Rockchip RK3368 processor at 1.5 Ghz together with a PowerVR SGX6110 GPU is a perfect combination to enjoy blazing 3D games and 4K videos.
Available for purchase from November, the tablet packs a long life of 10,000 mAh battery, with an average 5 hours video playback time, and embeds two cameras, 5 MP with Flash Focus at the rear and 2 MP at the front.
Multimedia users can take advantage of the preloaded Archos Video Player to play contents on local networks at home and external devices.
“With its impressive 34cm screen, it will become the must-have family companion this season,” said Archos. “Families can sit down and play games, watch movies, share pictures or surf the web together. It can also be put on display in the kitchen or the living room as a family organiser.”
