Apple’s wireless AirPods should be available earlier than expected

It was back in September that Apple announced it would release the much anticipated wireless AirPods. And its arrival is coming up sooner than expected.

Apple first said that it would come during October. But they happened to delay its release in order to deliver a truly finished product. It was almost slated to be released in 2017 but now thanks to an Apple reseller, we now know that it’ll be released very soon. Conrad, the apple reseller in question, has announced that it will receive new stocks starting November 17 and they will be available for online purchase from November 18-19.

According to a translation, a reseller mentions the AirPods in a conversation – “Hello, I have just talked with an employee of the Conrad Online Store, since I am there on 14.10 the AirPods ordered and I wanted to cancel today. According to information from the employee, they have stockpiles from 17.11, I will then have them between November 18-19.”

Once the Pods are released, they’ll offer up to five hours of music playback and provide a seamless connection between all Apple devices. It will also come with a battery case that offers more than 24 hours of listening time.

“The early response to AirPods has been incredible. We don’t believe in shipping a product before it’s ready, and we need a little more time before AirPods are ready for our customers,” an Apple spokesperson said to TechCrunch.

Of course, the AirPods are perhaps highly anticipated, but the sound-quality won’t exactly be the best. For $159, the AirPods will be an easy buy to consider. It’ll also offer about three hours of music listening on just 15 minutes of charge, so that’s something most people will consider. There are other better options at that price point as well, however. Jaybird’s headphones are currently the best in the business with their newest X3 being touted as the best wireless headphones to date.

We’re interested to see how Apple consumers react to the new wireless AirPods, since the wired version of the AirPods had much left to be desired in terms of quality. Maybe removing the headphone jack wasn’t such a good move after all, was it?
