Acer has announced a new 24-inch gaming display with WQHD (2560×1440) resolution.
The XB241YU is the latest to join the Predator line-up in the U.S., featuring an ultra-slim design, NVIDIA G-SYNC technology and a quick 1ms response time. Its fast 144Hz refresh rate can be overclocked up to 165Hz – useful for gamers who like to push their limits.
“The ZeroFrame design makes it a perfect choice for those wanting to create an immersive multi-monitor setup, while the fast refresh rate and support for changing settings in-game, gives gamers a competitive edge,” said Acer America Director of Stationary Computing Ronald Lau.
The Predator XB241YU renders fast-moving actions and dramatic transitions without smearing or ghosting. And the display offers support for 100% of the sRGB color gamut.
Gamers can swiftly toggle between three customizable display profiles, thanks to the GameView technology. Also, the display uses flicker-less, blue-light filter, ComfyView and low-dimming technologies to help safeguard the eyes from blue light emissions.
Connectivity includes HDMI, DisplayPort v1.2 and a USB 3.0 hub (1 up/4 down). And there is an adjustable stand that provides height adjustment up to 5.9 inches.
The Predator XB241YU can be purchased online or through leading retailers in the U.S. for a price of $499.
