HP has refreshed its Envy 13 laptop and Envy 27 display, improving the hardware and considerably slimming down the design.
The Envy 13-inch laptop now comes with dual-core 2.5GHz Intel Core i5-7200U 7th-generation processor. The new Kaby Lake mobile processor is engineered for faster productivity performance and can seamlessly stream 4K content.

The processor is backed by Intel’s HD 620 integrated graphics, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD.
On the battery and connectivity, the new Envy 13 boasts a 14-hour battery life and supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless connectivity. It has one USB 3.1 Type-C port and two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports.
HP has also released a new convertible notebook with a 13-inch touchscreen display. The new Spectre x360 has reduced bezels and weighs about 1.3kg.
It features four speakers, infrared camera and a wide-angle webcam. It also comes with the 7th Generation (Kaby Lake) Intel Core i7 processor and Intel’s HD 620 graphics. There is also 1TB PCIe SSD for storage.
As for pricing, the new Envy 13 will sell for $850, while Spectre x360 13 will have a price tag of $1,050.
HP Envy 27 Display
Towards the new 4K Envy monitor, the 27-inch display features 3840×2160 resolution at 60Hz and 178-degree viewing angles. PC World reports that the monitor is FreeSync-compatible for stutter-free gaming performance when paired with AMD Radeon graphics cards. The Envy 27 Display has dual HDMI, dual display ports, and a USB C port for peripherals. It will hit store shelves this December for $499.
