On Wednesday, HP announced four next generation business scanners that is designed to boost productivity and increase office efficiency. The new ScanJets not only boast of fast duplex scanning, but comes with high-capacity automatic document feeder (ADF) and an optional Wi-Fi accessory to connect and scan from anywhere in the office.

For those familiar with the HP JetAdvantage Capture app, storing and routing digital files from a mobile device to the scanner will be an effortless task. The new devices allow users to scan documents directly into applications with TWAIN or ISIS drivers.

“Business customers need affordable tools that are easy to use and help digitize data into searchable, sharable and ready to archive content,” said Tuan Tran, general manager and global head of HP office printing solutions.

“The new HP ScanJet scanners announced today are simple and intuitive for general office scanning, yet robust and customizable for unique workflow needs allowing customers to stay focused on their business. They also have a small footprint, perfect for placing on desktops,” he added.

The HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow 5000 s4 and HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow 7000 s3 are specifically designed for enterprise uses. Both the scanners can scan folded A3 sheets without a carrier sheet. The HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow 5000 s4 can scan up to 50 pages/100 images per minute. It is recommended for 6000 pages per day. HP ScanJet Enterprise Flow 7000 s3 can scan up to 75 pages/150 images per minute and is recommended for 7500 pages per day.

The HP ScanJet Pro 3000 s3, meanwhile, is targeted at small and medium businesses. It is a Wi-Fi enabled affordable scanner that can scan up to 35 pages. For budget-conscious customers, HP has the ScanJet Pro 2000 s1 which can scan up to 24 pages per minute. The entry-level scanner sells at a price of $329.
