3 apps you need for a sumptuous Thanksgiving

There’s a lot of rush contributed to Thanksgiving. Once the shopping for all the goodies is done, the shopping and preparing for the eatables comes along. Luckily, there are a few apps out there to help cook up some classic Thanksgiving dishes and let your folks gobble up the yummy delights. Here are three that can enhance your Thanksgiving recipes.

1) Yummly
Yummly is everything – organized, neat and beautifully curated. In fact, it’s so customizable that users can filter the recipes they’re looking for based on their own preferences of sourness, saltiness, sweetness and other tastes. Users can save their favourite recipes and share them on social networks.

Users can also scroll through, or make their own collections of recipes for everything. They can be like little cookbooks found in the app itself – all user generated. Users will also get to search for recipes that properly match their preferences of food – so people who have allergies towards certain foods will get to search for recipes that don’t have those ingredients. It’s a very thoughtful and very nice little app to keep.

2) Epicurious
Epicurious has a good collection of recipes and cookbooks from the biggest food recipe publishers like HarperCollins, Bon Apetit, Gourmet and much more. The app is updated with tons of new content almost every day with new recipes. There are videos, images and great step-by-step instructions for making every recipe that Epicurious brings to the table.

The app has a shopping list integrated so that users can create the list of what to buy straight from the app. There’s also a very convenient smart timer within the app that users can take advantage of for finding the right cooking time so that the dish is prepared and cooked perfectly.

3) Panna
Panna is a cooking app that’s more for those who like cooking like MasterChefs. It’s got 350+ video recipes, with personal classes by some of the world’s biggest Michelin star chefs. Users can source recipes filtered by the Chef, the cuisine, meal and ingredients. Also, better is that the app allows for Casting to other devices so it’ll be a helpful companion for that kitchen TV.

It’s more like a Netflix for cooking and as such, will come with 30 days of free trial after which there’s a subscription plan for $19.99 annually.

Have a great Thanksgiving Day!
