Windows 10 Mobile device on a laptop processor soon?

Is Microsoft working on a Windows 10 Mobile device powered by a laptop processor? Tweets by online tipster Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks, seem to indicate the same.

On Friday, Blass posted pictures that appeared as a concept phone. But it does seem more than just an idea. It could be real. “Powered by a laptop-class Intel processor, would this have blown your mind?” Blass tweets.

Commenting on a response that said it was a “nice concept”, Blass responded with the tweet “Much more than just a concept. Stay tuned”. Given the fact that Blass has had a good record of accurate leaks, it is wise to examine the details.

It is difficult to gauge how a laptop processor will perform in the long term on the Windows 10 Mobile phone. But, if Microsoft can seamlessly execute, you have one powerful gadget.

There is not much we know yet on the specs, availability or pricing. This could very well be the rumored Surface Phone. It it will materialize, you can be sure of one thing, it will be powered by a laptop Intel CPU.
