Nokia phones to be made available worldwide starting end of June

Nokia will be having a big year ahead after its announcements regarding the new Nokia 3, 5, 6 and the new 3310. The company that is now owned by HMD global is set to make its offerings available worldwide from the month of June onwards.

Fans have been waiting for the resurface of the much-awaited Nokia brand for quite some time. Tapping into the market then, makes a lot of sense as sales and production increases in the coming months. It has already been a few months since the four new releases of Nokia have been announced and as of yet, they haven’t been made available to the rest of the world just yet.

Queries have been flooding the social accounts of Nokia, with questions asking when the official release of the new models will be made available for sale, with the company responding that they will become available sometime between May and June.

Although there has not been a specific date set by the company for a release, Q2 of 2017 has been the decided response by the company for worldwide availability. This means that the end of June is when Nokia will be making its products available to the worldwide markets. Because of the huge demand, there are concerns whether Nokia will be able to satiate the needs of the customers and provide resellers with enough stock of the phones. Among the various offerings, it seems like the Nokia 6 has the makings to be a promising option for the budget mid-range segment. The Nokia 3310, which has been criticized by reviewers for being a missed opportunity by Nokia, will probably be seen as more of a back-up phone/novelty item for the really hardcore fans. The phone itself lacks basic modern-day utilities such as 3G and has very limited functionality.

Nokia is also showing itself to be a key player for innovation as it is also dabbling in the dual-camera setup configuration for its higher end variants, not shy to get into flagship territory which is already occupied by giants such as Samsung, LG, HTC and now OnePlus. It is about time for Nokia’s comeback. The company had been on top of the pie chart long before Android and iOS were launched. It is still too soon, however, to truly gauge whether this comeback will be the return of the King or has-been.
