Mi Note 2 launched today with two-sided curved display

The new Mi Note 2 was just announced and it’s everything the rumors made it out to be.

At a special event in Beijing, China, Xiaomi unveiled the flagship device with much spotlight on the dual-edge curved display.

The phablet features a 5.7-inch Oled flexible display and is powered by a 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor. The processor is paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage.

For longer battery life, the device packs a decent 4070 mAh with support for Quick Charge 3.0. And on the camera front, it has a 22.56MP Sony IMX318 sensor rear camera. For selfies, there is an 8MP front shooter with auto-focus.

The 64GB version will sell at 2799 Yuan ($413) and 128GB version will have a price tag of 3299 Yuan ($487). It will also sell in two color options – Piano Black and Glacier Silver.

Other features include support for dual-SIM slots, fingerprint scanner and NFC for mobile payment. Connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE HD voice calling support, NFC, GPS Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11a/c.
