Meizu M6 Note’s leaked teaser confirms launch on August 23

A new teaser of the Meizu M6 Note has leaked providing details of the release date. According to the poster, the phalet will be releasing on August 23.

Meizu M6 Note is a successor to the M5 Note that launched last year. In the upcoming release, users can expect a 5.5 inch full HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution and a MediaTek Helio P25 processor.

The launch on August 23 is to take place at the Beijing Performing Arts Centre. The press invite, obtained by Android Headlines, contains the letter 6, with the Meizu China headquarters at the backdrop.

Latest reports indicate that the M6 Note will sport a unibody metal design and will even feature a dual camera setup. The device is tipped to come in two variants – 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. There are also reports of a 13MP rear camera and 4,000 mAh battery.

The phone, which will run Android 7.0 Nougat based Flyme OS out of the box, is expected to be priced at CNY 1599 ($239). For now these are just rumors and in less than a week we will be able to confirm the specs, price as well as when the device will be available at stores.

Meizu’s latest follows the launch of the Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus smartphones. Both the devices come with dual-Super AMOLED screens and is powered by a Helios P25 chipset. The display, RAM and storage however vary with the Pro7 having a 5.2-inch FHD screen and Pro 7 Plus a 5.7-inch QHD screen.
