Huawei’s upcoming Nova 2 has stopped by at TENAA, the Chinese Telecom regulatory site. The device has been certified for the Chinese market and was listed along with its bigger variant, Nova 2 Plus.
A successor to Huawei Nova, the Nova 2 was listed on TENAA with images of the front and rear panel showing the design. On first look, it reveals a metal unibody design. Additionally, we can also confirm that there is a finger print scanner on the back and a dual camera set up too.
The TENAA listing does not reveal details on the specs, but going by the recent reports we can confirm a Hisilicon Kirin 660 processor for both Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus. The latter will pack a 5.5-inch display as well.
The Nova 2 is expected to feature a 5.1-inch screen and will not include a Home button. That is all we have in terms of the hardware, but it is best to take the aforesaid with a grain of salt till anything official.
The predecessor, Huawei Nova, launched at the IFA 2016 in Berlin. It was priced at CNY 2099 ($304) and featured a 5-inch full-HD (1920x1080p) display and Snapdragon 625 processor.
Huawei Nova was equipped with a 12MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera and 3,020 mAh battery or power. The processor meanwhile, was paired with a 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage.
