The Galaxy TabPro S2 was spotted having cleared Bluetooth testing. Bearing model number SM-W727V, the 2-in-1 received its Bluetooth certification from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG). A successor of Galaxy TabPro S, the next-gen tablet could probably be unveiled at the February 26 event Samsung is holding on the sidelines of MWC.

Earlier, the South Korean tech giant had sent media invites for the launch of an unannounced tablet which is speculated to be the Galaxy Tab S3. We will know by the month end if the TabPro S2 will be released alongside.

The listing on the SIG shows Galaxy TabPro S2 to be a Wi-Fi only model. Samsung might unveil a LTE variant in coming months, but it is just a speculation.

A 12-inch Display and Windows 10 OS

Based on reports, the Galaxy TabPro S2 will launch with a 12-inch Super AMOLED (2160×1440) display and latest Intel Core M series processor. To come in two flavors – Black and White, reports also mention of Samsung prepping up to four variants.

Earlier, the hybrid tablet was spotted on Wi-Fi Alliance after it had passed the requisite conditions. The certification from Wi-Fi Alliance though dint reveal the specifications, did hint at the Windows 10 operating system.

Other significant changes could be the presence of Thunderbolt, larger RAM, storage and battery. When the Galaxy TabPro S was launched, it had a 12-inch Super AMOLED display and 6th generation Intel Core M processor.

Further, it also was fitted with a 4GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage and 5,200 mAh battery. It supported fast charging technology, enabling users to replenish the entire battery in just 2.5 hours. For pictures, TabPro S had a 5MP rear and front camera. Connectivity options included WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, MIMO, WiFi Direct and NFC.
