Galaxy Note 8 launch round the corner, videos show off camera and S Pen features

The Galaxy Note 8 launch is right around the corner. Samsung is leaving no stone unturned to increase the size of its user base. The company has released two videos showing off the features.

Out of the two videos, the first teases the camera and the second goes on show the rich and expert stylus S Pen. The one detailing the camera confirms the optical zoom as well as the bokeh effect that was earlier rumored. According to reports, the Note 8 will feature 2x optical zoom or 3x zoom.

The second video meanwhile confirms that Note 8 will include an S Pen and it should come with an interesting design. Nothing asides that is known, but users should be exited by the unimaginable possibilities the S Pen has to offer.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23 in New York. A successor to the Note 7 which suffered a major set back last year, the Note 8 is rumored to be the first Samsung device with dual camera set up.

The Note 8 has leaked multiple times giving fans a glimpse into the hardware. For the uninitiated, the Note 8 is rumored to sport a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display and will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

To run Android 7.1.1 Nougat, the flagship device will come with a dedicated Bixby button and also will carry IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Rumors earlier this month also suggested eight color variants, with Black and Gold to be exclusive to US market.

With just two days for the launch, let’s hope the Note 8 will be all that the rumors spoke of. Given the Note 7 fiasco last year, stakes are high for Samsung to recapture the loyalty of fans.
