Asus updates its ZenBook line and VivoBook line-ups with 8th Gen quad-core Intel CPUs

Asus has just upgraded their ZenBook and VivoBook line-up of laptops with the latest 8th generation Intel chipsets with quad-core processors which will double the performance when compared to its predecessors. Asus has promised that there will be a 40-percent increase in performance, while maintaining the same energy consumption. Here are the laptops in all their glory:

ZenBook 3 Deluxe UX 490

The ZenBook 3 Deluxe is a 14-inch FullHD laptop that will come with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal SSD storage. According to Intel, it will be among the first ultra-slim laptops to feature the powerful quad-core CPU. The laptop will come with two USB Type-C ports and a single Thunderbolt 3 port (for 40Gbps data transfers). The laptop will be about 12.9mm thick and weight just 2.43 pounds, making it the lightest offering in the company’s portfolio yet. The laptop will be sold for a price tag of $1,699. It will come with the latest Core i7 Intel quad-core processors and is available right now.

ZenBook Flip S UX370

The ZenBook Flip S is a 10.9mm thin laptop with a weight of 2.43 pounds, which is quite portable and functional at the same time. Featuring the 8th gen Core i7 processors, it will also come with 16GB of RAM, 512GB SSD storage, all wrapped in a 13.3-inch screen size body. The display is an HD unit with support for the Asus Pen. There are also two USB Type-C ports and a new 360-degree ErgoLift Hinge which will be able to securely hold the display at any angle. The laptop will also feature a fingerprint sensor on the side. There is no information regarding availability and pricing for the device just yet.

ZenBook UX330

The ZenBook UX330 is made of solid aluminium and features the 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processors. The laptop is 13.5-inches thin and 15 percent slimmer than its predecessor despite the added horsepower, according to Asus. The laptop will come with a 13.3-inch full HD display, 8GB of RAM, 265GB of SSD storage as well as a fingerprint reader. Asus claims that the battery life can last for up to 12 hours on a single charge, impressively. The system will be available starting now for the price of $749.

ZenBook UX430

The ZenBook UX430 has a FullHD screen with an 80 percent screen to body ratio. The laptop is 15.9mm thin and weighs 2.9 pounds respectively. The laptop will come with the 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, along with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage, along with a built-in fingerprint sensor. The model is currently available for the price of $1,099.

VivoBook Flip TP510

This model is convertible two in one laptop, complete with four viewing modes. The screen is a 15.6-inch fullHD touch display with a viewing angle of up to 178 degrees. The bezels are 8.1mm in length, giving the display 79.4 percent of screen to body ratio. It will also support the Asus Pen as well. It will feature the 8th Generation Core i7 processor, along with 8GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The laptop comes with a dual-storage design, which includes the standard HDD as well as another HDD bay or SSD bay for expansion. It is currently available for $899.

VivoBook S510

This one also features the same 15.6-inc fullHD screen as the Flip and the 8th generation Core i7 processor is present here again too. It will come with 8GB of RAM, 256GB of SSD storage plus 1TB of HDD storage combo. The laptop will also differentiate itself from the pack and include the NVIDIA GeForce MX150 graphics. The laptop will come with USB Type-C, USB 2, USB 3 and HDMI ports respectively. This particular model comes with a special colour finish that the company calls Icicle Gold and will be available for the price of $899.
