Chinese electronics retailer GearBest has listed the yet-to-be announced Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 on the platform. The listing makes public the specs, also showing the colors, RAM and storage variants.
Besides the details of the specs, the GearBest listing has an ‘Arrival Notice’ button instead of the add to cart option, as first reported by GSMArena. Users will be able to submit their email and be notified when the device becomes available.
The spec sheet on the listing shows the Mi Mix 2 to be a 6.4-inch (2540x1440p) display phone powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor. There are three RAM and storage variants – 4GB RAM/128GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/258GB storage.
In terms of photography, you have a 19MP rear camera and a 13MP front shooter. The Mi Mix 2 will also be equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery. Rumors also state the Mi Mix 2 will come with 93 percent screen-to-body ratio. Renders of the design leaked online last week showing the front as well as the back panel.
Xiaomi is expected to unveil the flagship, along with the Mi Max 2. It is hard to speculate if the release will be any time soon as the Mi Mix released only in October 2016.
When the Mi Mix launched, it had near bezel-less display with curved edges on top. The 6.4-inch display had a 17:9 aspect ratio and was powered by a Snapdragon 821 SoC. The 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant carried a price tag of CNY 3,499 ($508).
